Rebeca Gudiel

My name is Rebeca Gudiel. I was born in a lovely little country in Central America – Guatemala, and I am the little sister of 4 girls. I am a sport lover! I enjoy anything that involves movement and competition to keep me active. I have played soccer since I was little, ran for many years, received my black belt in Taekwondo, and if the music is right, salsa, meringue, and bachata dancing is a must!

My talents in communication earned me a scholarship at the Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala City, a degree in art and graphic design, and allowed me to work as a graphic designer since the age of 16.

I moved to the United States in 2010, where I quickly continued my career at Wayne Enterprises before attaining my U.S. citizenship in 2016. I have learned an amazing amount of business practices and art techniques in my 8 years at Wayne, and am excited to improve my career further. I am passionate about my work and believe there are many ways to resolve situations, rather than just one.

I like to research and understand topics that interest me in great depth. Reading about nature, medicine, technology, science, new cultures, and historical events always interests me. One of my favorite books is Eat Pray love, by Elizabeth Gilbert. I like the character of this book because she breaks the traditional views of womanhood and reflects a woman with weakness, but with the heart and courage to be different and face every one of her life stages. "You can't like it 'til you try it!" This phrase is true for me in so many ways and especially with food. I like to taste distinct flavors and textures from different plates and cultures. I really like to eat and no matter how much I have been enjoying different flavors, my favorite food is sushi and my favorite dessert is mochi; mango flavor, of course! My favorite hobby is sharing my time with my family and friends, enjoying a good conversation, and growing relationships through humor, laughing and sharing quality time.I encourage you to read more about my career experiences on my LinkedIn profile, which can be viewed at:
